According to reports, the girl had been experiencing severe abdominal pain and was taken to a hospital by her mother. After a preliminary examination, doctors advised that she undergo a scan, following which she visited a private scanning centre.

While using the restroom at the facility, the girl reportedly went into labour and, with the assistance of her mother, delivered a healthy baby.

In a disturbing turn of events, it is alleged that immediately after the birth, the girl’s mother attempted to dispose of the newborn in a dustbin at the scanning centre. However, the staff present at the facility noticed the act and promptly alerted the police.

Police rushed to the spot and shifted both the minor girl and the newborn to the Government General Hospital in Nagarkurnool. Doctors stated that both the mother and the baby are in stable condition.

A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to determine how the minor became pregnant and whether any other individuals were involved in the incident, police said.
