Hyderabad: In a commendable achievement, the Rajendra Nagar police station has been honoured as the “Best Police Station” in the country for the year 2023 by the Union Ministry of Home.

Station House Officer (SHO) B. Nagendra Babu, representing Rajendra Nagar police station, was presented with the prestigious trophy by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The award ceremony took place during the meeting of Directors General of Police (DGPs) from all states held in Jaipur on Friday.
The Chief Minister praised the diligent efforts and outstanding performance of the Rajendra Nagar police station, which secured the top position among all the best police stations in the country. The recognition underscores the station’s commitment to maintaining law and order, ensuring public safety, and fostering community engagement, a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office said.
