Telangana Govt Reshuffles IAS Officers; New Appointments in Key Departments Announced

In a major administrative reshuffle, the Telangana government has issued transfer orders for several IAS officers, assigning them to new positions across key departments.

Hyderabad: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Telangana government has issued transfer orders for several IAS officers, assigning them to new positions across key departments. Chief Secretary to the Government, A. Santhi Kumari, released the official notification detailing the fresh postings and additional responsibilities.

Sabyasachi Ghosh, presently serving as Special Chief Secretary for Animal Husbandry, has been transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary (Implementation of Flagship Welfare and Development Schemes Unit). He will continue to hold his existing charge of the Welfare Department.

Anita Ramachandran, Secretary of Women and Child Welfare, has been entrusted with Full Additional Charge (FAC) of Secretary and Commissioner, Tribal Welfare Department, expanding her administrative responsibilities in the social sector.

Ilambarathi, currently serving as Secretary of the Metropolitan Urban Development Department, has been posted as Transport Commissioner, relieving M. Raghunandan Rao of the additional charge.

In another key move, E. Sridhar, Secretary of the Backward Classes Welfare Department, has been given FAC as Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD) following the voluntary retirement of S.A.M. Rizvi, effective October 31.

SK Yasmeen Basha, Director of Horticulture and Sericulture, has been appointed FAC Managing Director of TGOILFED, replacing J. Shankariah, who has been reassigned.

Meanwhile, G. Jitender, CEO of Adilabad Zilla Parishad, has been transferred and posted as Special Commissioner, Scheduled Castes Development Department, relieving N. Kshitija of the additional charge. He will also serve as Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Scheduled Castes Cooperative Development Corporation Limited.

Additionally, B. Saidulu, Secretary of MJPTBCWREIS, has been given FAC as Special Secretary (Implementation of Flagship Welfare and Development Schemes Unit), strengthening the administrative focus on welfare initiatives.

The reshuffle, seen as a step to improve governance and accelerate implementation of welfare programs, places experienced officers in departments critical to the State’s flagship schemes and development agenda.
