A New Digital Initiative for Students
The initiative, which was first introduced as a pilot project for the environmental education examination on Thursday, will be extended to all theory and practical examinations starting from March 3. Students will receive a link from the Board to download their hall tickets and can then take a printout to appear for the exams.
An Alternative to College Collection
Previously, students had to collect their hall tickets directly from colleges, a process that often led to issues, such as colleges withholding tickets due to non-payment of tuition fees. This new initiative eliminates that concern by allowing students to access their hall tickets digitally.

Environmental Education Exam a Test Run
The new system was first tested for the environmental education examination held earlier this week. The initiative was designed to make the process smoother and more accessible for students, ensuring that they could focus on their studies rather than logistical concerns.
Issues with Hall Ticket Distribution Resolved
There were some reports of students not receiving their hall tickets despite having paid the fees for the environmental education exam. However, the Board allowed these students to appear for the exam without issue, ensuring that no student was left behind due to administrative delays.
Late Applications for Exam Permission
In an additional development, about 50 students from colleges housed in mixed-occupancy buildings—recently granted government permission to operate without a fire NoC—approached the Board late in the evening before the exam. These students were allowed to apply and take the examination, showcasing the Board’s commitment to accommodating students in extraordinary circumstances.
With this new digital hall ticket system, the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education has taken a significant step in modernizing the examination process and reducing unnecessary hurdles for students.
