Telangana Minority Residential Student Asiya Creates History with Guinness, Limca and Telugu Records
Asiya, a meritorious student of Intermediate Second Year (BPC) from Telangana Minority Residential Educational Institution (School & Junior College), Hanamkonda, located on Hunter Road, Warangal, has received a prestigious State-Level Outstanding Award for her exceptional achievements in Karate.

Asiya, a meritorious student of Intermediate Second Year (BPC) from Telangana Minority Residential Educational Institution (School & Junior College), Hanamkonda, located on Hunter Road, Warangal, has received a prestigious State-Level Outstanding Award for her exceptional achievements in Karate.
Asiya created history by winning a gold medal at a live karate event held in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and secured a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. She also won the Limca Book of Records and Telugu Book of Records in competitions held at Secunderabad on November 23, 2025.

In recognition of her remarkable achievements, Asiya was felicitated by minority leaders at a prestigious function held at the Telangana Secretariat, Hyderabad.
On the occasion, Mohammad Azharuddin, Minister of State, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Mohammed Faheem Qureshi, President of Telangana Minority Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGMREIS), Shafiullah, IFS, Secretary, Department of Minority Welfare and TGMREIS, Zubeda Begum, Deputy Secretary, TGMREIS, and Mohammad Dilawar Ali, Joint Secretary, TGMREIS were present.
