Hyderabad: Telangana Police Chief Jitender on Friday warned that anyone trying to disturb peace and law, and order will be dealt with strictly as per law.
Dr. Jitender, who held a conference with commissioners of police in Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda in view of recent developments, said there shall be zero tolerance against people trying to disturb the situation in Hyderabad and Telangana.
He stressed that there should not be any compromise on the law and order situation in the Tri-Commissionerates of Hyderabad.
The DGP appealed to all people not to take the law into their own hands.
The police chief’s directions come in the backdrop of recent developments which are a combination of rising crime, political criticism, and community distress, underscoring a pressing need for effective governance and law enforcement in Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda.
