Hyderabad: The State government on Thursday issued guidelines to resolve the problems in ‘Dharani’ portal.
According to the guidelines, powers have been transferred to Tehsildars, RDOs, District Level Officers and CCLAs. The guidelines have clearly mentioned that what powers an officer has at which level.
Meanwhile, the revenue department has decided to organise a special drive from March 1 to 9 across the State in a bid to resolve Dharani related problems. As per the guidelines, the officials will process the applications at the mandal levels.
According to officials, a total of 2,45,037 applications have been pending for the revision in Dharani portal. Similarly, more than one lakh applications for data correction in the passbooks are also pending at various levels.
Officials said that in the name of records updation, about 13 lakh acres of land is in the Part-B of the Prohibited List and another 5.07 lakh an acre of land is in the prohibited list without reasons.
