Modern Infrastructure and Integrated Schools
The government aims to build schools comparable to top institutions by:
- Using modern construction technology
- Completing 12 integrated schools within a year
- Upgrading 17 schools and improving facilities in 164 schools
Authorities were told not to compromise on quality.
Focus on Technology and AI Education
To prepare students for future skills, the Telangana public schools plan includes:
- Introducing Artificial Intelligence (AI) learning from school level
- Training teachers through short-term programmes
- Updating technical education courses
This move is intended to align education with global trends.
Student Welfare Measures Announced
The initiative also includes major welfare steps:
- Breakfast scheme to be implemented from 2026–27
- Milk supply for all students
- Distribution of student kits including bags, stationery, and shoes
Technology will be used to monitor nutritional intake and benefits.
Strengthening Higher Education and Regulation
Officials were directed to:
- Allocate funds for universities
- Review fee regulation policies for private schools
- Conduct inspections at district level for fee decisions
A final committee will review recommendations and implement reforms.
