Temperatures Rise Gradually in Andhra Pradesh
The Meteorological Department stated that a low-pressure area formed over the southeast Bay of Bengal has moved northwestwards and entered the southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Indian Ocean. The system is likely to intensify further over the next 24 hours.
Hyderabad: Heat intensity is gradually increasing across Andhra Pradesh, with day temperatures recorded two to three degrees Celsius above normal in several districts.
According to meteorological data, the highest maximum temperature of 37°C was recorded in Kurnool and Nandigama. However, night temperatures in agency and interior areas continue to remain relatively cool.

Under the influence of this weather system, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and rainfall have been forecast for several districts of Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema on Monday.
The State Disaster Management Authority indicated that isolated light to moderate rainfall is likely in parts of East Godavari district. Meanwhile, districts including West Godavari, Eluru, Krishna, NTR, Guntur, Chittoor, Tirupati, and Annamayya may witness lightning activity along with light showers at a few places.
Authorities have advised residents to remain cautious during thunderstorms, particularly in areas prone to lightning strikes, and to follow weather advisories issued by local officials.
