UP Police Constable Exam 2024: 244 Arrested, Including 2 Policemen

In three days, 244 individuals, including two policemen, were arrested for cheating in the UP Police Constable Exam. UPPRPB denied Paper Leak rumors.

Over the last three days, law enforcement agencies arrested 244 individuals suspected of involvement in cheating during the UP Police Constable Exam. Among those arrested were two policemen.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board conducted the written examination for 60,244 constable positions amidst heightened vigilance. The crackdown on cheating attempts intensified across the state.

Authorities have been working diligently since February 15 to ensure the fairness of the exam. The crackdown targeted not only exam cheaters but also those involved in leaking exam papers.

Despite concerns, the exam was conducted peacefully across all 2385 centers in the state. Senior officials remained vigilant, overseeing exam proceedings in all districts.

Key Arrests: Significant arrests were made, including nine individuals apprehended in Firozabad district, with additional arrests in Prayagraj and Ballia by the STF.

Solver Caught During Verification: During fingerprint verification at an exam center in Bijnor city, a solver attempting to take the exam for someone else was apprehended. The accused, from Bihar, is under investigation.

UPP Paper Leak: Board issues statement.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) recently addressed concerns regarding the purported leakage of the Uttar Pradesh constable examination 2024 paper. Dismissing these rumors, the board clarified its stance.

In its statement, the UPPRPB mentioned initial investigations revealing the exploitation of Telegram’s edit feature by certain individuals to propagate false claims and sow confusion regarding the paper leak on social media. Assuring the public, the board stated that both itself and the UP Police are actively monitoring such incidents and conducting thorough investigations to identify their origins.
