Woman Caught Growing Ganja Plant at Home in Andhra Pradesh

Officials stated that an intensified campaign against ganja cultivation and drug-related activities is currently underway across both Telugu states. Authorities warned that individuals involved in such illegal activities will face strict legal action and may be sent to jail.

Hyderabad: Sensation prevailed in Nuzvid town of Andhra Pradesh after police and the Eagle team conducted a joint operation and caught a woman allegedly growing a ganja plant at her residence.

According to police officials, the woman had secretly planted a ganja (cannabis) plant in the backyard of her house, hiding it among bushes in an attempt to avoid detection.

Nuzvid DSP Prasad reached the spot during the operation and uprooted the plant from the ground. The woman was taken into custody, and further investigation has been initiated to determine whether she was involved in any larger illegal activity.

Meanwhile, police in the united West Godavari district carried out large-scale search operations as part of the crackdown. During the drive, several vehicles without proper documents were seized by the authorities.

Local residents said that such sudden and large-scale police actions would create fear among criminals and help improve law and order in the region.
