Hyderabad: A tragic incident was reported in Hyderabad after a 26-year-old woman died by suicide by jumping into Hussain Sagar Lake, police said on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Vijayalakshmi, a resident of Kukatpally, whose body was recovered from the lake following a search operation.

According to police, Vijayalakshmi had left her house two days ago, telling her family that she would return shortly. When she did not come back, her family grew worried and filed a missing complaint at Kukatpally Police Station.
