Xiaomi Launching Series of 5G Phones on Oct 28
Three variants of Redmi Note 11 series are expected to be launched tomorrow in China
Hyderabad: Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is preparing to launch the new Note 11 series in China on October 28. The new series will succeed the Redmi Note 10 series, and it is expected to deliver significant advancements in performance, camera capabilities, and other key areas while preserving the Redmi phone’s low price point. The brand has officially disclosed a few insights into the Redmi Note 11 series phones, ahead of the launch event. The event is scheduled at 4:30 pm IST. Redmi Watch 2 and the Redmi Smart Band Pro are among the devices scheduled to be unveiled at the event.
Redmi Note Series:
This year, three variants of the Redmi Note 11 series are likely to be released namely Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro+. The Note 11 Pro+ is the highest-end phone in the lineup. All three smartphones are said to have 5G connectivity.
Processor:
All three phones are equipped with Mediatek Processors. Redmi Note 11 will house the Mediatek Dimensity 810 processor, Redmi Note 11 Pro will sport MediaTek Dimensity 920 whereas the Redmi Note Pro+ will be powered with MediaTek Dimensity 1200. Read more at:
Cameras:
The Redmi Note 11 is said to include a triple camera configuration with a 50MP primary lens and two 2MP lenses. The Redmi Note 11 Pro will have a 108MP lens, and the top-of-the-line Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is likely to have the same.
Display:
Redmi’s is likely to include AMOLED panels with a 120 Hz refresh rate on all of its Note 11 series phones. The Note 10 Pro+ would also include 120W fast wired charging, however the charging speeds of the other two types are unknown.
Expected Price in India:
According to a leak from Arsenal, a Weibo tipster, the Redmi Note 11 series could be price at CNY 1,199 (about Rs 14,000) for the vanilla Note 11, and CNY 1,599 for the Note 11 Pro (around Rs 18,700). It’s likely that the Note 11 Pro+ may cost CNY 2,199. (around Rs 25,700).
