A total of 12 new Covid positive infections have been reported in Telangana on Saturday.
Hyderabad: A total of 12 new Covid positive infections have been reported in Telangana on Saturday.
With this, the overall number of active cases raised to 38, ever since the new corona virus variant of JN.1 was reported.
Out of the 12 positive infections, 9 cases were from Hyderabad, one each from Rangareddy, Sangareddy and Warangal districts, State Director of Public Health and Family welfare said in its Covid status bulletin here.
On Friday, the number of active cases was 27 and it increased to 38 on Saturday.
Out of 1322 samples tested on Saturday, the results of nearly 30 patient reports are awaited, the bulletin added.
Meanwhile, State health Minister Damodhar Rajnarasimha conducted a high-level meeting on Covid prevention with the concerned health department officials at the state Secretariat today.
