GHMC issues high alert; asks Hyderabad residents to stay indoors unless absolutely necessary


Hyderabad: The Greater Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (GHMC) issued a high alert for the residents of Hyderabad on Thursday, warning them about the occurrence of heavy rains. They strongly advised people to refrain from leaving their homes until the afternoon.

The forecast predicted heavy rainfall, covering the entire Hyderabad region.

GHMC urged everyone to stay indoors unless absolutely necessary. There was a possibility of waterlogging in some low-lying areas, and citizens were also cautioned to avoid getting close to electrical poles for safety reasons.
