10 terrorists killed in separate operations in NW Pakistan

Ten terrorists were killed, and three others injured in two separate operations in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province, the military has said.

Islamabad: Ten terrorists were killed, and three others injured in two separate operations in Pakistan’s northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province, the military has said.

The security forces conducted intelligence-based operations in North Waziristan district of KP, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, said in a statement on Saturday.

During the first operation, four terrorists were killed during a clash between security forces and terrorists initially, whereas, during the follow-up clearance operation, four more terrorists were killed, according to the ISPR statement.

In a separate operation, the movement of five terrorists, who were trying to infiltrate the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, was picked up by the security forces, said the ISPR.

“After an intense fire exchange, two terrorists were killed, while three other terrorists got injured,” the ISPR said.
