Hyderabad: The Chief Minister Cup Netball Tournament at the constituency level concluded with great enthusiasm, showcasing impressive performances by Under-19 boys’ and girls’ teams from across the city.

In the boys’ category, Secunderabad emerged as champions, securing first place after a strong performance throughout the tournament. Malakpet claimed the second position, while Khairatabad finished in third place.

In the girls’ category, Amberpet clinched the championship title with an outstanding display of teamwork and skill. Charminar secured second place, and Khairatabad once again finished third.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Shri Amberpet Srinivas Yadav, All India Congress Party Coordinator and In-Charge of Andhra Pradesh State, who congratulated the winners and encouraged the young athletes to continue striving for excellence in sports.

Other distinguished guests present at the event included I/C Principal of Kachiguda Shri Ram Mohan, Dr. B. Laxman, Physical Director of Government Boys High School, Headmistress Smt. K. Vijay Laxmi, School PET Shri Laxman, Hyderabad District Netball Secretary Shri Mamidi Vignesh, and Shri S. Shankar.

The tournament highlighted the growing popularity of netball among youth in Hyderabad and provided a competitive platform for young players to demonstrate their talent at the constituency level.
