Hyderabad: Markazi Ruyat E Hilaal Committee Sadar Majlis Ulema E Deccan has officially announced that the moon of Maahe Zilhajja was not sighted today. According to the committee, Monday, May 18, 2026, will be observed as 30 Zeeqada, while Tuesday, May 19, 2026, will mark the first day of Zilhajja.

In its official statement, the Markazi Ruyat E Hilaal Committee Sadar Majlis Ulema E Deccan stated that the crescent moon for the Islamic month of Zilhajja was not sighted.
As per the announcement:
- Monday, May 18, 2026 — 30 Zeeqada
- Tuesday, May 19, 2026 — 1st Zilhajja
- Thursday, May 28, 2026 — Eid Ul Azha
