The results have sparked discussions within education circles, as thousands of teachers now face mounting pressure to clear the eligibility test within the stipulated deadline.
As per the directions issued by the Supreme Court, government teachers who fail to qualify the TET by August 2028 could face the loss of their jobs, making the examination crucial for their continued service.
Education department officials are expected to review the results and explore measures to improve teacher preparedness and performance in future examinations.
The TET examination is conducted to assess the teaching aptitude and subject knowledge of educators and is considered an essential qualification for teaching positions in government schools.
