SIO Protests at Charminar, Demands Transparent Probe into NEET UG 2026 Paper Leak and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s Resignation

Hyderabad: Protests over the alleged NEET UG 2026 paper leak have intensified across the country, with various student organisations raising concerns over the integrity of the examination system. Joining the protests, the Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) staged a demonstration near the historic Charminar in Hyderabad on Friday, demanding a transparent investigation and strict action against those responsible.
SIO activists held placards and banners during the protest, raising slogans calling for transparency in the examination system, justice for students and protection of education.
The protesters demanded an independent, impartial and transparent investigation into the alleged NEET UG 2026 paper leak, stating that the truth must be brought before the public and the confidence of students restored.

The protesters also demanded that Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan take moral responsibility and resign from his post. They said public confidence in the examination system could not be restored unless a thorough investigation was conducted and strict action was taken against those found responsible.
SIO called on the government to take impartial legal action against all those allegedly involved in the paper leak, strengthen transparency in the examination system and introduce effective measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
Protests over the alleged NEET UG 2026 paper leak have reportedly been held in Delhi and several other parts of the country. Student organisations, civil society groups and political parties have been seeking answers from the Central government, while demands for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan have also intensified.
