HYDERABAD : A grand farewell felicitation ceremony was organized today (31.08.2026) under the aegis of the City Police Co-operative Credit Society Limited to honor 21 police officers (11 Sub-Inspectors, 9 Assistant Sub-Inspectors, and 1 Head Constable) who retired upon superannuation after rendering dedicated and meritorious service of nearly 42 years in the Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate.
Sri M. Srinivas, IPS, Additional CP (Crimes & SIT), Hyderabad City Police, attended the event as the Chief Guest on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City. He felicitated the retiring officers with shawls, presented them with mementos, and handed over the retirement benefits on behalf of the Credit Society.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest advised the retired officers to exercise utmost caution regarding their retirement funds and to avoid falling prey to fraudulent schemes promising high returns. He urged them to deposit their hard-earned money only in safe, government-recognized financial institutions. He further encouraged them to take utmost care of their health during their “second innings” and requested their family members to support them through this new phase of life.
To honor their dedicated service, dedicated official vehicles were specially arranged to drop all 21 retiring officers safely and respectfully at their respective residences.
The event was attended by Smt. K. Venkata Lakshmi, DCP (Admin); Sri Yadagiri, Administrative Officer (AO); Sri Mohammed Ismail, Junior ADO; along with Sri Md. Asif Khan, Vice President; Sri G.M.S.
