Osman Bin Mohammed Al Hajri Intensifies Anti-Dengue and Mosquitoes Control Abhyaan Drive across Karwan Constituency

Hyderabad: Acting on the instructions of Hon’ble TPCC President Shri Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud and Hon’ble Minister & Incharge Minister for Hyderabad Shri Ponnam Prabhakar, Contested MLA & Incharge, Karwan Assembly Constituency, Janab Osman Bin Mohammed Al Hajri has intensified efforts to protect the people of Karwan from dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases.
For the past two weeks, Osman Al Hajri has been continuously visiting dengue-prone areas and coordinating with GHMC Deputy Commissioner Shri Jani Basha, Executive Engineer Shri Lal Singh and the Entomology Department for comprehensive mosquito-control and sanitation measures.
Special attention is being given to major mosquito-breeding hotspots, including Langar Houz Lake, Shah Hatim Lake, Musi River and Ziaguda Dumping Yard. Anti-mosquito operations, including drone-assisted spraying, manual anti-larval treatment, source reduction and intensive fogging, are being carried out to curb mosquito breeding and prevent the spread of dengue.
Osman Al Hajri stated that under the strong leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy, the Telangana Government is giving utmost priority to public health and the prevention of vector-borne diseases.
He further stated that, following his continuous representations, the work of removing wild vegetation and accumulated waste from the Musi River through Hitachi machinery is expected to commence shortly. This will help eliminate mosquito-breeding habitats and improve environmental sanitation.
Osman Al Hajri emphasized that the fight against dengue requires continuous Integrated Vector Management, including elimination of breeding sources, sanitation, anti-larval measures, surveillance, fogging and public awareness.
He assured that his campaign against dengue and mosquito breeding will continue until effective preventive measures are implemented throughout the Karwan Assembly Constituency.
During today’s visit, B Block President Shri Vinod Chowgle, Ziaguda Division President Shri Darshan Kumar, Shri Thumkunta Arun Kumar, Karwan Youth Congress President Shri Sai Kumar, Youth Leader Sadeq Bin Omer Al Hajri, Ali Bin Osman Al Hajri, Karwan Mahila Congress President Smt. Madhavi, Nanal Nagar Division President Shri Nagulapally Srikanth, Nanal Nagar Incharge Shri Aftab Quraishi, Khairatabad DCC Secretary Shri Lakshman, Ziaguda Division Incharge Shri Naveen Kumar, Secretary Shri Anand Kumar, Osama Bin Osman Al Hajri, Mahesh Madire, Abdul Rasheed Khan, Afroz Khan and several Congress Party leaders and workers were present.
