Hitachi Excavator Equipment Deployed to Remove Wild Vegetation and Garbage from Musi River

Hyderabad : A special anti-dengue and anti-mosquito campaign has been underway across the Karwan Assembly Constituency for the past 20 days, focusing on sanitation, elimination of mosquito breeding grounds, and public awareness.

Congress leader and Incharge of Karwan Assembly Constituency, Janab Osman Bin Mohammed Al Hajri, has been continuously pursuing the issue with GHMC and Entomology Department officials and conducting field visits in response to public complaints about the increasing mosquito menace.

Under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy, and with the guidance of TPCC President Shri Mahesh Kumar Goud and Hyderabad Incharge Minister Shri Ponnam Prabhakar, the anti-dengue campaign in Karwan is being further strengthened.

As an important part of the ongoing campaign, Hitachi excavator equipment has been deployed in the Musi River specifically to remove dense wild vegetation, overgrown weeds, bushes, and accumulated garbage from the riverbed and adjoining areas. The cleanup operation is aimed at reducing conditions that can contribute to mosquito breeding and improving sanitation along the river.

The ongoing anti-dengue and anti-mosquito efforts are expected to benefit several areas, including Ziaguda, Karwan, Gudimalkapur, Tappachabutra, Langar Houz, Golconda, Nanal Nagar, Tolichowki, Nizam Colony, and Ibrahim Bagh.

Janab Osman Al Hajri appealed to citizens to actively participate in the campaign by maintaining cleanliness, preventing water stagnation, and promptly reporting potential mosquito breeding sites.

Members of the Rajaka community working at Dhobi Ghat near Purana Pul, who had been facing severe mosquito-related problems, expressed their gratitude to Janab Osman Al Hajri and his team after Hitachi excavator equipment was deployed to commence the removal of wild vegetation and accumulated garbage from the Musi River.

Senior Congress leaders and party workers, including Thumkunta Arun Kumar, Abdullah Bin Osman Al Hajri, Roop Lal, Vinod Chowgle, Darshan Kumar, Smt. Madhavi, Mohammed Bin Osman Al Hajri, Santosh Goud, Ali Bin Osman Al Hajri, Osama Bin Osman Al Hajri, Naveen Kumar, and Mahesh Madire, were present during the visit.
