Hyderabad: Telangana Secretariat employees staged a protest in front of the main gate of the Telangana Secretariat on Tuesday, demanding the immediate resolution of several long-pending issues affecting government employees.
The employees gathered at the Bahubali Gate and raised concerns over pending bills, the Pay Revision Commission (PRC), Dearness Allowance (DA) and the Employees Health Care Scheme (EHCS).
The protesters urged the state government to take immediate steps to address their demands and clear the pending dues. They also sought clarity and timely action on the PRC and DA-related issues, which they said have been awaiting resolution.
Employees also highlighted concerns surrounding the implementation and functioning of the EHCS, calling for measures to ensure better access to healthcare services for government staff and their families.
The protest at the Secretariat main gate drew attention to the concerns of employees, who appealed to the government to hold discussions with their representatives and resolve the issues at the earliest.
The employees said they would continue to press for action until their pending demands are addressed.
