The deceased, identified as Samakuri Venkanna, was reportedly cultivating one acre of his own land along with another five acres taken on lease.
According to the available information, Venkanna had borrowed money to meet agricultural investment expenses. However, with the expected crop yield not materialising, he was reportedly unable to repay the loans, leaving him under severe financial and emotional distress.

In a state of anguish, Venkanna allegedly died by suicide by hanging.
