Youth attacks girl with knife for rejecting his love proposal in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A young girl was attacked by a youth on Monday evening in Banjara Nagar, Borabanda, S R Nagar Police Station limits for rejecting his love proposal.

The youth, identified as Kishore, had been following the girl for some time and had expressed his love to her.

However, she rejected his proposal, which resulted in him harboring a grudge against her.

When the girl was riding her two-wheeler, Kishore attacked her with a knife and attempted to cut her neck.

However, an alert local who caught him was beaten and handed him over to the police.

The girl sustained injuries on her neck and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The police have registered a case and taken up an investigation.
