Hyderabad Junior Lineman, TSSPDCL in ACB net
The accused officer B Veerakarna, a Junior Lineman at Moinabad in Ranga Reddy district, was caught red handed when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount from the complainant T Pratap to fix the electricity meter at the complainant's agriculture land, a ACB statement said.
Hyderabad: The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday caught red-handed a Junior Lineman of Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana red-handed when he was accepting a bribe amount of Rs 5000.
The accused officer B Veerakarna, a Junior Lineman at Moinabad in Ranga Reddy district, was caught red handed when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount from the complainant T Pratap to fix the electricity meter at the complainant’s agriculture land, a ACB statement said.
The bribe amount was recovered from Veerakarna.
He has been arrested and would be produced before a court.
