The initiative aims to reduce the need for patients to travel to metropolitan cities for advanced medical treatment.

Additionally, it plans to expand access to cancer treatment by installing 12 LINAC-based radiation therapy systems across Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
Over the coming years, the healthcare group’s total bed capacity is expected to increase from more than 10,600 beds to over 15,000 beds. The combined organisation currently employs more than 45,000 healthcare professionals and expects its expansion to create thousands of additional employment opportunities for doctors, nurses, allied healthcare professionals, and support staff across India.
The merger positions Aster DM Quality Care as one of the country’s largest integrated healthcare providers, offering primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary healthcare services through a network of hospitals and centres of excellence across multiple medical specialties.
