Telangana Formation Day: CM Revanth Reddy Unveils Vision 2047 for a Global Telangana

Addressing the gathering, the CM declared that the state government is preparing a long-term plan to make Telangana the No.1 state

On the occasion of Telangana Formation Day, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy hoisted the national flag at Secunderabad’s Parade Grounds and received the ceremonial guard of honour. Japan’s Kitakyushu Mayor Kazuhisa Takeuchi participated as the state guest.


CM Sets Vision to Make Telangana No. 1 by 2047

Addressing the gathering, the CM declared that the state government is preparing a long-term plan to make Telangana the No.1 state in the country and globally by 2047, coinciding with India’s 100 years of independence. He unveiled the ‘Rising Telangana 2047’ vision with an aim to transform the state into a $3 trillion economy within the next decade.


Correcting Past Mistakes, Rebuilding Telangana

Revanth Reddy emphasized that even after ten years of formation, the aspirations of the people were not fulfilled. He stated that the public government is taking responsibility to revive a crumbling financial and administrative system left behind by the previous regime.


Government Committed to People’s Aspirations

The CM said this journey will not be easy, but the government is moving forward with the people’s hopes and dreams as its agenda. He called on citizens to stand by the public government in the state’s rebuilding process.


Priorities: Women, Farmers, Youth, Education, Health

Outlining the focus areas of his administration, the Chief Minister said the government is working toward the welfare of women and farmers, youth empowerment, education reform, and healthcare access.


Steps Toward Social Justice

Revanth Reddy announced measures such as 42% reservation for weaker sections, sub-categorization of SC communities, construction of Indiramma houses, and the development of integrated residential schools as part of building a socially inclusive Telangana.


Infrastructure Push for a Global Telangana

He detailed massive infrastructure plans including the Musi River Rejuvenation, Bharat Future City, Young India Skills University, Sports University, Metro Rail expansion, regional ring roads, and new airports to transform Telangana and Hyderabad into global investment hubs.


Strengthening Law and Order

The CM stressed that peace and safety are essential for development. He noted that Telangana police have become one of the best forces in India, crediting anti-drug strategies and strengthened security measures.


Hyderabad Gaining Global Attention

Highlighting Telangana’s international recognition, the CM spoke about the successful Bharat Summit attended by delegates from 100+ countries and the upcoming 72nd Miss World event. Under the slogan “Telangana Zaroor Aana,” the state aims to showcase its culture and historical legacy.


Telangana Supports National Integrity

CM Revanth reiterated Telangana’s commitment to national unity and security. He recalled how the state stood by the Indian Army and Union Government during the Pahalgam attack.


Awards and Recognitions Presented

Nine prominent individuals who played key roles in the Telangana movement were honoured. Gallantry awards were also presented to outstanding police officers. Senior officials, public representatives, and dignitaries attended the event.
