Cong to win only 20 seats, BRS to retain power in Telangana: CM KCR

KCR said that the BRS was born for Telangana. The BRS party worked sincerely during the last 10 years and put the state ahead in all the sectors. Even though the Congress party had won in Madhira, the BRS government did not show partiality. It was developed equally.

Khammam (Telangana): Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) on Tuesday predicted that the Congress would secure only 20 seats and BRS will retain power in third time in the state upcoming assembly elections to be held on November 30.

Speaking at an election meeting titled ” Praja Aashirvaad Sabha” held at Madhira in Khammam district, KCR asked the people not to hurry during the elections because voting is a powerful weapon in democracy. Vote would decide the future of the people and the state. Before voting must observe the candidature and its backed party.

KCR said that the BRS was born for Telangana. The BRS party worked sincerely during the last 10 years and put the state ahead in all the sectors. Even though the Congress party had won in Madhira, the BRS government did not show partiality. It was developed equally.

He criticised the Congress by stating that all cheating in its history. Everybody knows about leading the people in their lives for 50 years rule of congress.The Congress also gave hurdles to the Telangana people by merging it in Andhra.

KCR criticised that the Congress has a dozen Chief Minister candidates, but they never win. Again it will get only 20 seats. BRS would form a government by securing full majority. He asked the overs to support BRS candidate Kamala Raj in the elections. He assured to extend Dalit Bandhu to all eligible if Kamal Raj wins.

He said that there was no electricity during the Congress regime. But now providing quality power. Congress objected to providing free electricity and Rythu Bandhu. They also announced to introduce Bhu Matha in the place of Dharani Portal (integrated land record system). It is not Bhu Matha. It is Bhu metha (swaha).

To continue the development which took place during the last 10 years, BRS will come to power again, CM KCR said.

He said, there was a water scarcity in Khammam when river Godavari was flowing inside Khammam during the Congress regime. There were not to take any steps to protect the river Godavari water which is beneath the sea. The drought would permanently resolve once the Seethamma Sagar project is completed. So, we are moving ahead with planning and urging the people to vote for BRS.
