Hyderabad: On the eve of the Telangana Assembly elections nomination deadline, Congress finalized its roster of four candidates.
In a noteworthy change, Katta Sreenivas Goud will now represent Patancheru instead of Nilam Madhu Mudiraj, prompting protests from Mudiraj’s supporters earlier in the week.
The party, in its latest list on November 9, unveiled candidates for Charminar, Miryalaguda, Suryapet, and Thungathurthi constituencies, including Mujeebullah Shareef, who had already submitted his nomination.
Shahbaz Khan, another Congress leader, had also filed nominations independently.
