Congress dubs 10 lakh recruitment ‘jumlebaazi’

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) on Tuesday announced that Modi had instructed 10 lakh employment by the Indian government in the said period .

New Delhi: The Congress on Tuesday took described as “jumblebaazi” Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for recruitment of 10 lakh people in the next 1.5 years.
“The promise was to give two crore jobs every year. In 8 years, 16 crore jobs were to be given. They are saying now by 2024, 10 lakh jobs will be given. Sixty lakh government posts are vacant, out of which 30 lakh are in the Central government. For how long ‘jumlebaazi’?” Congress MP Randeep Singh Surjewala asked.
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Tuesday announced that Modi had instructed 10 lakh employment by the Indian government in the said period .
The development came after the Prime Minister reviewed the status of human resources in all the departments.
“PM Narendra Modi reviewed the status of human resources in all departments and ministries and instructed that recruitment of 10 lakh people be done by the government on mission mode in the next 1.5 years,” the PMO tweeted.
