Hajj committee calls meeting to ensure smooth departure & arrival of Hajj aspirants
He welcomed the officials and lauded their impressive performance and said that because of their cooperation the Telangana got the pride of place in the country.
Hyderabad: B. Shafiullah IFS, Executive Officer Telangana State Haj Committee Informed that the All Department coordination meeting have been held on 08th June, 2022 at Haj House, Nampally Hyderabad decided to make the best arrangements for the successful conduct of Haj camp 2022 for smooth departure and arrival of Haj pilgrims from Hyderabad Embarkation Point.
He welcomed the officials and lauded their impressive performance and said that because of their cooperation the Telangana got the pride of place in the country.
He also said that, after 2 years the process of Haj started due to Covid-19. Mohammed Saleem, Chairman, Telangana State Haj Committee presided over the meeting.
State Home Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali, reviewed the arrangements made in coordination of different central and state government departments and instructed that excellent arrangements should be made for the safe and smooth departure of the Haj pilgrims from Hyderabad Embarkation Point.
Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar said the government will support the Haj pilgrims in every way possible.
A. K. Khan IPS, (Rtd.), Advisor to Government on Minorities Welfare moved the agenda items and sought assurance from all the departments’ officials for their active cooperation. He emphasized on coordinated efforts for successful conduct of Haj Camp.
He asked the Saudi Airlines authorities to ensure that no Haj flight is delayed and all amenities be provided to the pilgrims. He said that this year 3200 pilgrims would proceed from Hyderabad to Jeddah for Haj – 2022.
Mohammed Saleem Chairman TS Haj Committee asked the GMR to provide sufficient service to the pilgrims at the Haj Terminal. He requested all departments to cooperate with each other as a team work during the Haj camp.
He said that the Hon’ble Chief Minister Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao desired that no stone be left unturned for providing comfort and convenience to the Haj pilgrims when they leave for the most sacred journey of their lifetime.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Saleem Chairman, informed that, waiting list no. 503 to 590 have been confirmed on efforts.
Ahmed Nadeem, Secretary Minority Welfare, Md. Imtiyaz, principle secretary to govt., Badvel Shaik Ghouse ul azam, Hon’ble Chairman APSHC, Syed Nizamuddin, Mir Nader Ali Razvi, Shaik Hameed, Syed Irfan Ul Haq, Jaffar Khan, Asima sultana, Members TSHC and Abdul Khader, Executive officer APSHC were also present.
The Officials from Telangana State Waqf Board, GMR, Customs, Immigration, CISF, BCAS, Saudi Airlines, IPM, Princess Esra Hospital, Fire Service, RTC, PWD, GHMC, BSNL, Police and Traffic Police and other departments attended the meeting.
