Heavy rain likely in four districts of Telangana in next 24 hours
Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in KomaramBheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, and Mulugu districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Wednesday.

In a daily weather report here, it said that thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds with speed ranging from 30-40 kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, KomaramBheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam and Mahabubabad districts of the state during the same period.
Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds with speed ranging from 30-40 kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana on September 8.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at many places or at a few places in the state during the next seven days.
Southwest monsoon has been vigorous in Telangana.
Very heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Nizamabad, Siddipet and Heavy rainfall occurred at a few places in Nizamabad & Siddipet and at isolated places in Jogulamba Gadwal, Karimnagar, Komaram Bheem, Nirmal, Peddapalli, Rangareddy, Sangareddy and Suryapet districts of the state during the last 24 hours.
Rain occurred at most places in Telangana during the same period, the report added.
