Heavy rain likely in Telangana in next 48 hours: Met

Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Peddapally, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Janagaon of Telangana during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Wednesday.

Hyderabad: Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Peddapally, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Janagaon of Telangana during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Wednesday.

In a daily weather report, it said that the same situation is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts Adilabad, KomaramBheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Janagaon, Medak, Kamareddy of the state on Thursday.

Thunderstorms accompanied with Lightning are likely to occur at isolated places in few districts of Telangana during the next 48 hours.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at most places or many places or a few places over the state during the next five days.

Southwest Monsoon has been vigorous over Telangana.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in Kamareddy, Nagarkurnool, Siddipet and Heavy rainfall occurred at many places in Hanumakonda, at few places in Sangareddy and at isolated places in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Jagtial, Jangaon, Kumaram bheem, Mancherial, Medak, Narayanpet, Nirmal, Peddapalle, Rajanna Sircilla, Rangareddy, Vikarabad, Warangal Districts of the state during the last 24 hours, the report added.
