Heavy Rainfall Brings Relief to Hyderabad; Orange Alert Issued for Telangana

Hyderabad: The residents of Hyderabad, who were feeling the intensity of the heat during the monsoon season, have found some relief. On Sunday morning, when people woke up, they saw that thick clouds had covered the sky, and as soon as the Fajr prayer was completed, drizzles started.

After that, there was light rain, and within a short time, the rain intensified, and the entire city experienced heavy rainfall. Along with this rain, the general public has also found relief as the weather has become pleasant, and it has brought some moisture as well.

On the other hand, it has been raining in several parts of the state since Sunday night. According to the Meteorological Department, the rains are happening under the influence of low pressure forming in the Bay of Bengal.

During this time, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for the state of Telangana. There has been a warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall in the Bay of Bengal due to the low-pressure system.

Due to the impact of low pressure in the Arabian Sea, the weather has changed in Hyderabad city. Heavy rainfall is occurring in many areas. In Gachibowli, Madhapur, Hitech City, Kukatpally, Film Nagar, Ameerpet, Panjagutta, SR Nagar, Sheikhpet, Manikonda, Rayadurgam, Mehdipatnam, Toli Chowki, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, and many other areas, heavy rainfall is being reported.

In Chintal, Suchitra, Jeedimetla, Balanagar, and Kokapet, among other areas, there is heavy rainfall. Apart from Hyderabad city, heavy rainfall is occurring in several parts of Telangana. Due to the impact of the rains, there has been a disruption in the supply of electricity in many parts of the city.
