Bhatti Vikramarka Delivers on Promise: ₹1,000 Crore Released, Employee Dues and GPF Cleared

Hyderabad, Wednesday: In a major decision on Telangana government employees’ pending dues, Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka fulfilled his assurance by releasing ₹1,000 crore towards pending dues.

Acting on his clear directions, Principal Secretary of Finance Department Sandeep Kumar Sultania issued orders and released the funds on Wednesday. The move also increases monthly payments from ₹700 crore to ₹1,000 crore, and the current status confirms that dues are being cleared on priority, including GPF up to October 2025 and medical bills without delay.

₹1,000 Crore Released for Employees’ Pending Dues

Taking a significant step to resolve long-pending issues of state government employees, the government has released ₹1,000 crore. The funds were released on Wednesday following the directions of Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.

  • Orders issued by: Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Principal Secretary, Finance Department
  • Purpose: Clearing pending dues of employees
  • Status: Funds released and dues clearance ongoing

With this move, the Deputy CM has fulfilled the assurance given in the Assembly.

Monthly Payments Increased from ₹700 Crore to ₹1,000 Crore

Last year, during discussions with employee unions, the government had promised to release ₹700 crore per month.

  • The government honored this commitment and made monthly payments up to March 2026
  • After reviewing financial difficulties faced by employees, Bhatti Vikramarka increased the allocation to ₹1,000 crore from the current financial year

As part of this, ₹1,000 crore for the month of April has been released on a war footing.

GPF Dues Cleared Up to October 2025

The government has taken a positive step for retired employees:

  • All pending GPF (General Provident Fund) dues up to October 2025 cleared
  • This provides relief to thousands of senior citizens waiting for retirement benefits

Medical Bills and Scholarships Cleared Without Delay

Regarding employee welfare:

  • Officials directed to ensure medical bills are cleared without even a single day’s delay
  • Payments are being processed at a very fast pace
  • Scholarship payments are also being cleared along with medical bills

The government emphasized that there should be no compromise on employees’ health security.

Senior officials added that the increased allocation and clearance of GPF dues reflect the government’s commitment and sincerity.
