Good News for Farmers: Rythu Bharosa Third Installment to Be Credited Soon

Telangana Rythu Bharosa Scheme Installment Details
Under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, the government is providing financial assistance to farmers:
- ₹12,000 per acre per year
- Earlier given in two installments
- This year being distributed in three installments
Funds Released So Far
- First installment: ₹3,446 crore
- Beneficiaries: 68.89 lakh farmers
- Second installment: ₹2,206 crore
- Beneficiaries: 45.11 lakh farmers
These amounts have already been deposited into farmers’ accounts.
Third Installment by End of May
The Revanth Reddy government has announced that:
- The third installment will be credited next month
- Funds will be released by the end of May
- The government is currently raising funds for this purpose

Fund Raising Plan and Financial Details
To support the scheme and other commitments, the Telangana government:
- Sent a proposal to the Reserve Bank of India to auction bonds worth ₹12,000 crore
- The repayment period is planned over 6 to 25 years
- Interest rate expected: 7% to 7.5%
Additional Financial Requirements
- ₹15,000 crore required for Hyderabad Metro acquisition
- Funds will also be raised through Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA)
- In the next two months, the government plans to raise ₹12,000 crore for:
- Rythu Bharosa
- Metro acquisition
- Retired employees’ arrears
KYC and Farmer Registration Mandatory
The government has made it clear that:
- Bank KYC must be completed every year
- Only active accounts will receive funds via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)
- Farmer registration is mandatory
- The Farmer Registry has been made compulsory by both Central and State governments
Yasangi Season Payments
- Payments are currently being made for the Yasangi season
- ₹6,000 per acre was given in the first installment
- Additional land amounts were covered in the second installment
- In the third installment, full eligible land coverage will be completed
