Hyderabad Police Warn BJP MLA Raja Singh Over Ignoring Security Protocols

The notice was served by Mangalhat Police, reminding the legislator of his obligation to cooperate in order to maintain law and order, especially while visiting highly sensitive areas.

The Hyderabad Police have issued a formal warning to BJP MLA Thakur Raja Singh for allegedly disregarding government-provided security arrangements, including a bulletproof vehicle and assigned gunmen. The notice was served by Mangalhat Police, reminding the legislator of his obligation to cooperate in order to maintain law and order, especially while visiting highly sensitive areas.

“Use Bulletproof Vehicle and Assigned Gunmen,” Say Police

In their written communication, police emphasized, “You are requested to protect yourself by using a bulletproof vehicle and inevitably utilize the (1+4) security personnel allotted by the Government.” The message comes after it was found that the Goshamahal MLA has repeatedly moved without his assigned security, even amid rising security threats.

Frequent Threats Ignored, Say Authorities

According to the notice, Raja Singh has received multiple threatening calls from unidentified individuals in recent times. Despite this, police say, he has continued to travel alone, without the bulletproof car or his official (1+4) security cover, showing a “careless attitude” towards his own safety.

Sensitive Areas Visited Without Security

The police further pointed out that Raja Singh recently visited highly sensitive and communally volatile areas such as Talabkatta, Bhavani Nagar, Engine Bowli, Baba Nagar, Bahadurpura, Santosh Nagar, Yakutpura, Golkonda, and Jirra without any security escort. These areas have been flagged by intelligence agencies due to heightened communal tensions and require extra precaution from public representatives.

Law Enforcement Stresses Cooperation

Officials have reiterated that the security measures are in place not only for Raja Singh’s protection, but also to avoid any law and order disturbances that could arise due to his presence in communally sensitive zones. Police urged the MLA to comply with protocols to prevent avoidable risks.

As of now, Raja Singh has not publicly responded to the latest notice. The situation remains under close watch by Hyderabad Police.
