Ranga Reddy District, Hyderabad Commissionerate: A shocking road rage incident took place under Meerpet Police Station limits where a car hit a two-wheeler and later dragged a man on its bonnet for nearly 2 kilometres before fleeing.

The victims were identified as S.K. Jilani and his son Faisal, who were travelling from Gayatri Nagar towards LB Nagar on a motorcycle. After the collision, an argument broke out, which escalated into an assault. The case is currently under investigation by Meerpet Police.
How the Incident Happened in Hyderabad Road Rage Case
According to the victim:
- The car hit the two-wheeler from behind
- A verbal argument followed between both parties
- The car driver allegedly attacked the bike rider
- When trying to stop the vehicle, S.K. Jilani climbed onto the bonnet
- The driver continued driving without stopping, dragging him for about 2 km
Route of the Incident: Balapur to Mandamallamma Junction
The car reportedly:
- Travelled up to Balapur Chowrasta
- Then turned back towards Mandamallamma Chowrasta
- At Mandamallamma Chowrasta, passersby intervened and stopped the vehicle
- The driver then abandoned the victim and fled the scene
Faisal Seriously Injured, Under Treatment
- Faisal sustained serious injuries in the accident
- He is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital

- Meerpet Police registered a case
