New Delhi: Delhi Police is reportedly examining the possibility of taking action over allegedly objectionable and derogatory posts shared on social media against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders during the ongoing CJP protest at Jantar Mantar.
According to police sources, social media content shared during and after the protest is being continuously monitored. Authorities are examining posts, videos and comments to determine whether any content violates the law or has the potential to disturb public order.
Sources said the process of identifying allegedly objectionable content across various social media platforms has already begun. If any post or video is found to be in violation of the law or deemed defamatory, the concerned social media platforms may be issued notices seeking its removal.
