Political tension gripped Karimnagar after a confrontation between BJP and BRS leaders led to alleged attacks on the camp office of Karimnagar MLA Gangula Kamalakar. BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy accused Union Minister Bandi Sanjay of orchestrating attacks and later alleged that a “heinous plot” was hatched by A. Revanth Reddy and Bandi Sanjay to murder him in Karimnagar. Police intervened after clashes and tension continued in the city.

BRS Alleges BJP Attack on Karimnagar MLA Camp Office
According to statements released by BRS leaders, BJP workers allegedly attacked the camp office of Gangula Kamalakar in Karimnagar.
The attackers allegedly damaged windows, doors, furniture, cars and other vehicles present at the office premises. BRS leaders claimed that BJP “goons” recklessly attacked the office and destroyed camp office furniture, doors and a car.
BRS leaders further alleged that Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay personally directed BJP workers to carry out the attack.
“It’s utterly shameful that Bandi Sanjay, the Minister of State for Home Affairs, is personally orchestrating attacks,” the statement said.
The statement further added: “This is a slap in the face to democracy. The people are watching everything, and at the right time they’re sure to give a fitting lesson.”
Padi Kaushik Reddy Makes Controversial Remarks
Amid the political confrontation, Padi Kaushik Reddy alleged that Bandi Sanjay should also undergo a drug test.
He made controversial remarks stating that he suspected Bandi Sanjay’s hair loss was due to side effects of consuming tobacco mixed with drugs.
The remarks intensified the political confrontation between BJP and BRS leaders in Karimnagar.
Kaushik Reddy Alleges Murder Plot
Later, Padi Kaushik Reddy made serious allegations against A. Revanth Reddy and Bandi Sanjay.
“This is a heinous plot hatched by Revanth Reddy and Bandi Sanjay together to murder me in Karimnagar,” Kaushik Reddy alleged.
He further claimed that law and order in the state had completely collapsed.
“Do they attack with sticks and knives right in front of the police? Do they kill you if you question law and order? Is this a democracy or a land of rowdyism?” he questioned.
“The people themselves will teach a lesson to this anarchic rule,” he added.
Police Stop BRS March Towards Bandi Sanjay Office
Following the alleged attack on the camp office, BRS leaders attempted to march towards the office of Bandi Sanjay.
Police stopped the march, following which tension prevailed across Karimnagar.
No arrests or official police case details were mentioned in the statement at the time of reporting.
