Hyderabad: Khaja Mujeebuddin on Wednesday assumed the charge of chairman of Telangana State Urdu Academy at his office in Haj House building, Nampally.
Ministers Mohmood Ali, Prashanth Reddy and Koppula Eshwar and MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha were present at the time of assuming the charge and congratulated Mujeebuddin on his new assignment.
On the occasion, Mujeebuddin expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for his appointment as the chairman of Urdu Academy and promised that he would strive hard for the popularisation of Urdu language and it’s literature in the days to come.
