Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills independent candidate Naveen Yadav engaged in a lengthy discussion with Congress candidate Azharuddin, expressing a positive response to join the party.

The likelihood of his joining is high, as he withdrew his independent nomination and plans to officially join Congress in the presence of TPCC president Revanth Reddy.

Naveen’s inclusion is expected to boost the Congress cadre in Jubilee Hills, potentially impacting the electoral dynamics against the BRS party.

Formerly associated with AIMIM, Naveen’s decision to join Congress stems from being denied a ticket by AIMIM, a party he had represented in the past.

Congress leaders, including Azharuddin, are actively engaging with Naveen to secure his support in the upcoming elections. The official announcement of his decision is anticipated later today.
