OBC Students Union Protest at OU Demanding Caste based Census
He said that Central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has betrayed the OBC without conducting a census.
Hyderabad: The All India OBC Students Union, National OBC Rights Protection Forum and Telangana BC Welfare Association jointly organized a demonstration at Osmania University demanding OBC caste based census.
The Telangana BC Welfare Association State President Erra Satyanarayana who led the demonstration said that the National OBC Rights Protection Forum had filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court against Central government’s decision.
He said that Central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has betrayed the OBC without conducting a census.
He called upon all the OBC associations to unite under one umbrella for conducting the caste census and reservations. One lakh postcards will be sent to the Prime Minister demanding the OBC census.
OBC Students leaders G Kiran Kumar, Y.S. Shiva Kumar, Lingaswamy, Swami Gowd, Kondal, Ravi Teja, Rajesh and others participated.
