PM Modi Says Government to Bring Stricter Law Against Paper Leaks, Promises Fast-Track Courts

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has addressed the issue of examination paper leaks, describing them as a serious and distressing matter affecting lakhs of students and their parents.
In a statement, PM Modi said the government had mobilised all available resources to ensure that the efforts of students do not go to waste. He noted that examinations were conducted for around 22 lakh students despite the challenges posed by the paper leak controversy.
The Prime Minister said the government had already taken several stringent measures against those involved in paper leaks, with the alleged perpetrators being identified and arrested.

He further said that authorities had been instructed to establish fast-track courts to deal with such cases and formulate stringent provisions to ensure strict punishment for those responsible.
PM Modi stated that the proposed measures would be discussed in the Union Cabinet, while suggestions from various stakeholders would also be considered. Following the discussions, the government plans to introduce the relevant bill in Parliament at the earliest.
The Prime Minister reiterated that the government remains committed to protecting the interests of students and ensuring transparency and fairness in the examination system.
