In a bid to bolster the Congress party’s presence in the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections, former AICC president Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to address street corner meetings and conduct road shows in five key Assembly constituencies this Friday, as revealed by party sources.
Gandhi’s campaign will kick off with his arrival at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, followed by a helicopter journey to Pinapaka, where he is slated to address a road corner meeting, as reported by Congress sources on Thursday.
Subsequently, Gandhi will proceed to Narsampet, dedicating two to three hours to participate in various programs aimed at connecting with the local community. The itinerary includes a ‘pada yatra’ in the Warangal East and West constituencies, reflecting a comprehensive approach to engaging voters.
As part of the extensive campaign trail, the Wayanad MP will travel by road to Hyderabad, where he is scheduled to address a meeting in Rajendranagar. Following the event, he will fly back to the national capital, marking the conclusion of his campaign efforts, according to sources within the Congress party.
