TPCC President A. Revanth Reddy on Monday submitted his nomination papers in Kodangal.

Hyderabad: TPCC President A. Revanth Reddy on Monday submitted his nomination papers in Kodangal. He believes that the upcoming state Assembly elections are a battle between the people of Kodangal and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.

He criticized the BRS for not keeping their promises to develop Kodangal. He urged the people of Kodangal to support the Congress in the elections. He said that if the Congress wins in Telangana, Kodangal will see more development.

After addressing to his supporters and party members, Revanth Reddy submitted his nomination papers while there was light rain. People supporting the Congress chanted slogans.

Revanth Reddy mentioned how the Karnataka PCC chief and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar helped the Congress win in Karnataka. He said that if Kodangal helps the Congress win, it will gain national recognition.

He also stated that the Congress should win in Kodangal with even more support than D.K. Shivakumar received in Karnataka.

If they win, Kodangal will receive more funding within two years, and the Mahbubnagar-Chincholi National Highway will be finished in a year.

Special degree colleges for girls will also be established, and he promised to protect their self-respect.
