An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 on the Richter scale struck 127 km East of Warangal in Telangana on Friday.

Hyderabad: An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 on the Richter scale struck 127 km East of Warangal in Telangana on Friday.


According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), The quake occured in the state at a depth of 30 kilometres, at a latitude of 18.04 and a longitude of 80.80 at around 04:43 am this morning.


‘Earthquake of Magnitude: 3.6, Occurred on 25-08-2023, 04:43:11 IST, Lat: 18.04 & Long: 80.80, Depth: 30 Km, Location: 127km E of Warangal, Telangana,’ NCS posted on X (formerly Twitter).


However, there was no report of any loss of life or property.
