Hyderabad: The Telangana Government has chosen 54 teachers for the state-level Best Teacher Awards, which will be presented on Teacher’s Day, September 5.
On Saturday, Vakati Karuna, the Secretary of the School Education Department, issued a Government Order for the academic year 2023-24, selecting 54 teachers who have received awards for their exceptional service while working in government schools, Gurukuls, and DIET colleges.
The awards are distributed across various categories, including 10 teachers in the Head Master category, 20 teachers in the School Assistant category, 11 teachers in the SGT/TGT/PGT category, one in the Diet Lecturer category, and 12 teachers in the Special category.
The honored teachers will be recognized during a program organized at Ravindra Bharati in Hyderabad on the 5th of this month, on the occasion of Guru Pujotsavam. Each awardee will receive Rs. 10,000 in cash, along with a certificate and a medal.
